Hi I’m Sharon Avery
Welcome to Sharon Jayne Fitness, Stronger for Longer.

My Story
I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer with 5 decades of life experience. From being a gymnast in my early years to running marathons and climbing mountains, more recently, it’s fair to say I’ve had a lifelong love of fitness. However, I also know how difficult it can be to manage your fitness whilst juggling family and work commitments. I also understand the set backs caused by injury and the new challenges encountered as we age, including menopause.
Having spent 30 years as detective with the Police I have first hand experience of the benefits of exercise for managing stress and improving mental well-being. Fitness journeys are different for each and every one of us and our goals change as we navigate through life. This is why personal training is so beneficial in meeting your specific needs. So, whatever your starting point, background and challenges I’m here to help you achieve your goals. From running your next marathon to having more energy to keep up with children/grandchildren, this is the start line of getting the most out of life as possible and staying stronger for longer.
